It’s a networking event with a political twist. Candidates for public office who are in the YPN age demographic will introduce themselves and share their motivations and goals.

Boost your knowledge of the issues that will be on your general election ballot in 2022. Justin Bentaas, Public Affairs and Research Manager for the Chamber, will explain the pro/con and answer questions about the three issues on the ballot for Sioux Falls voters.

Join us for October’s Off the Clock! In true YPN fashion, you will have a chance to make new friends and business connections by networking in a relaxed setting. No registration required – just show up and encourage other young professionals or colleagues to join you.

Party planners and extroverts, this team is for you! The Social Action Team plans all of the YPN networking and fun social events such as Off the Clock, Morning Buzz, Power Lunch, and many others.

Join other YPN members at Caribou Coffee for networking while getting your morning buzz (coffee). Morning-minded young professionals are invited to come enjoy coffee and conversation with other YPN members.

This action team plans tours of new projects in town, lines up phenomenal speakers and generally guides the educational elements of YPN while also looking for ways to educate YPN members about current issues in our community and encourage civic participation among young professionals. . If you enjoy brainstorming events that help young professionals develop both personally and professionally then this is the team for you!

YPs Read is a book club for members of the Sioux Falls Young Professionals Network. We will focus on reading Personal and Professional development books. Join us on November 7th! This month, we're reading an industry focused book of your choice –  come ready to discuss.

Research says one of the best ways to improve your productivity at work is to take a lunch break. So check out of the office (or your home office) for the noon hour and enjoy lunch with us at Camille's Sidewalk Cafe! We do ask that you RSVP in advance so we can monitor space requirements. You will need to click "Login" on the top right to register for the event. Click "Forgot Password" to set up a password (make sure you use the email address associated with the Chamber). After that you should then be able to register.

YPN Community Connections Tours provide the opportunity to get an inside look at a local business. Go behind the scenes at Millennium Recycling, Inc.

Join us to learn more about Project CAR,  a nonprofit, coordinated transportation service for people in Sioux Falls who have trouble finding rides to improve their wellbeing because of financial or physical limitations. They provide rides at little or no cost for persons to medical appointments, religious activities, employment for persons with developmental disabilities, healthcare education for low-income students, and seniors for adult care and companionship – all powered by volunteers.
