YPs Read is a book club for members of the Sioux Falls Young Professionals Network. We will focus on reading Personal and Professional development books. This month, we are reading The Book of Joy. The Archbishop has never claimed sainthood, and the Dalai Lama considers himself a simple monk. In this unique collaboration, they offer us the reflection of real lives filled with pain and turmoil in the midst of which they have been able to discover a level of peace, of courage, and of joy to which we can all aspire in our own lives. Read the book and come prepared and be ready to have a great discussion!

A Sit Down is a unique opportunity for YPN members to have a question and answer session with Senator Mike Rounds and is limited to the first 20 YPN members to RSVP. In order to attend this event, you must also register and attend Inside Washington with Senator Rounds, held after this event. A Sit Down with Senator Rounds is open to YPN members only. Cost =$35.00 You will need to click "Login" on the top right to register for the event. Click "Forgot Password" to set up a password (make sure you use the email address associated with the Chamber). After that you should then be able to register.

Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail is the 2012 memoir by the American writer, author, and podcaster Cheryl Strayed. The memoir describes Strayed's 1,100-mile hike on the Pacific Crest Trail in 1995 as a journey of self-discovery. "Wild" was also a feature motion picture starring Reese Witherspoon in 2014 based on Strayed's book. This Memoir / Author is in conjunction with the SME: Women In Business event happening on March 22nd - where Cheryl Strayed will be our keynote speaker. Several YPN members are part of SME and on the Women In Business committee and would love to have you join us for this book club and an amazing and powerful event geared towards all women in all stages of their careers / lives.
