In May, we’re going behind the scenes at the places that keep Sioux Falls running. This week, we’re touring the City’s Water Purification Plant.
This facility plays a critical role in delivering safe, reliable drinking water to our growing community. Recent upgrades, including the addition of five new filters, have increased filtration capacity to 75 million gallons per day. Alongside the $215 million expansion of the Water Reclamation Facility, the system is built to support both current demand and future growth.
The plant operates around the clock, with continuous monitoring to ensure quality and safety.
