We're continuing YP Gives, our quarterly initiative where YPN partners with Sioux Empire United Way to give back to the Sioux Falls community through hands-on volunteer experiences. This quarter, we are heading to DakotAbilities, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting and empowering people with disabilities through housing, employment opportunities, day programs, advocacy, and more. During this service project, YPN members will spend the morning playing Bingo and building connections with the individuals DakotAbilities serves. Join us for a fun and meaningful opportunity to give back, meet fellow young professionals, and help create a more inclusive community. Be prepared to make a difference when it matters most! Join YPN this October at the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce for a hands-on CPR training designed to help you feel more confident responding in an emergency. This educational session will cover CPR basics and provide practical guidance for real-life situations. Please note that this is a training only and does not include CPR certification. Whether you want to build your skills or simply be better prepared to act, this is a valuable opportunity to learn alongside fellow young professionals. Since its founding in 2009, the organization has worked to connect employers with resources, education, and strategies that create more inclusive workplaces and strengthen workforce participation across our community. During this event, attendees will learn more about Employment Disability Resources’ mission, current initiatives, and the important role they play in supporting both employers and individuals with disabilities.
