Get a behind-the-scenes look at Silencer Central, a Sioux Falls-based company that has been simplifying the process of safely and legally purchasing firearm sound suppressors for more than 20 years. During the tour, attendees will learn more about the company’s growth, operations and approach to compliance, education and customer service within the firearm sound suppression industry. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about a local company, explore its operations and see firsthand how its team serves customers across the country. Ready to make new connections? Join the Young Professionals Network for Speed Networking, a fast-paced and fun way to meet fellow young professionals from across the Sioux Falls community. Think speed dating, but for networking! You’ll rotate through a series of short, one-on-one conversations designed to help you meet new people, learn about what they do and expand your professional network. We’ll provide conversation prompts to help break the ice, so whether you’re a networking pro or attending your first YPN event, you’ll have an easy way to get the conversation started. We're continuing YP Gives, our quarterly initiative where YPN partners with Sioux Empire United Way to give back to the Sioux Falls community through hands-on volunteer experiences. This quarter, we are heading to DakotAbilities, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting and empowering people with disabilities through housing, employment opportunities, day programs, advocacy, and more. During this service project, YPN members will spend the morning playing Bingo and building connections with the individuals DakotAbilities serves.
