Off the Clock

Minnehaha Country Club 3101 W. 22nd St., Sioux Falls

Join us for the September "Off the Clock." In true YPN fashion, you will have a chance to make new friends and business connections by networking in a relaxed setting. No registration required – just show up and encourage other young professionals or colleagues to join you. Directions: Park at Sherman Park in Lot A (Parking Lot VIP, Sherman Park Rd., Sioux Falls, SD, 57104.) Upon parking, guests will hop on our shuttle to head “up the hill” from the VIP Lot and will be dropped off at the front of the clubhouse.  From there, they will be directed to the PREMIER Club (short walk).  We will have golf charts available too, from the clubhouse to PREMIER Club. This "Off the Clock" will be hosted at the Sanford International

Join fellow young professionals for our Vegas themed golf tournament! An afternoon of fun, sun and 18 holes of golf at Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort for the 15th Annual YPN Golf Tournament! No need to be a pro – all young professionals are welcome to play and spend the afternoon networking with one another. Prizes will be awarded at the Post-Party immediately following the Golf Tournament. Be sure to wear your Vegas-themed golf gear! Form your own team of four or we can do it for you. There must be at least one YPN Member on every team. If you’re signing up as a team, only one team member needs to register.

Inside Washington: A YPN Sit Down

A Sit Down is a unique opportunity for YPN members to have a question and answer session with members of South Dakota’s federal delegation and is limited to 30 number of YPN members. In order to attend this event, you must also register and attend Inside Washington, held after this event. Senator Mike Rounds will participate in a conversation with Chamber members about activity in our nation’s capital city and will discuss current federal legislation and issues of importance to our local business community. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions. Moderator to be announced. This event will begin at 11:15AM and includes a plated lunch at the Inside Washington event. A YPN Sit Down is open to YPN members only. Cost =$40.00 You will need to click "Login" on the top right to register for the event. A Seat at the Table with Miles Beacom

Join us for a seat at the table with Miles Beacom, Chief Executive Officer of PREMIER Bankcard. Under Beacom's leadership, PREMIER Bankcard has grown to employee over 1500 people in South Dakota serving more than 4 million customers nationwide, making the company the 14th largest issuer of Mastercard credit cards in the country. Beacom has served on the Board of Directors for numerous organizations, including Sanford Health International, Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, United Way, Dakota State University, Catholic Diocese Foundation, the Catholic Community Foundation for Eastern South Dakota, and the Freedom Scholarship Board. Beacom is a graduate of Dakota State University and has provided three gifts to DSU for the construction of academic, research and athletic facilities.
