Join us for this quarter’s YPs Read Book Club! This quarter, we’re reading Bend, Not Break: A Life in Two Worlds by Ping Fu, a powerful memoir that tells the story of resilience, perseverance, and finding opportunity through adversity. From surviving the Cultural Revolution in China to building a successful career in the United States, Ping Fu’s journey challenges us to reflect on leadership, innovation, and the strength it takes to adapt in changing environments. Come prepared to share your thoughts, key takeaways, and reflections from the book. This is a great opportunity to engage in meaningful conversation and connect with fellow young professionals over a story that spans cultures, challenges, and triumphs. We are committed to providing a welcoming and accessible experience for all event attendees. If you require any accommodations, please reach out to Jaci Pieters at jpieters@siouxfalls.com. We will make every effort to meet your needs.

Join us for August Our Sioux Falls featuring Employment Disability Resources! Employment Disability Resources is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping businesses successfully recruit, retain, and promote qualified individuals with disabilities. Since its founding in 2009, the organization has worked to connect employers with resources, education, and strategies that create more inclusive workplaces and strengthen workforce participation across our community. During this event, attendees will learn more about Employment Disability Resources’ mission, current initiatives, and the important role they play in supporting both employers and individuals with disabilities. Registration is required and limited to the first 25 participants. If you register, please plan to attend and add the event to your calendar. You will need to click “Login” on the top right to register for the event. Click “Forgot Password” to set up a password (make sure you use the email address associated with the Chamber). After that you should then be able to register. We are committed to providing a welcoming and accessible experience for all event attendees. If you require any accommodations, please reach out to Jaci Pieters at jpieters@siouxfalls.com. We will make every effort to meet your needs.
