How does the Chamber make sure the voice of the business community is heard? For the second event in our four-part Our Sioux Falls series, we’re diving into advocacy and public policy. Learn how the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce identifies issues that matter to local businesses, develops its policy priorities and advocates on behalf of its members at the local, state and federal levels. We’ll also explore the different ways Chamber members can stay informed, engage with important issues and make their own voices heard. You don’t have to be a policy expert to get involved. Come learn how the Chamber advocates for you and how you can be part of the conversation. Registration is required and limited to the first 25 participants. If you register, please plan to attend and add the event to your calendar. You will need to click “Login” on the top right to register for the event. Click “Forgot Password” to set up a password (make sure you use the email address associated with the Chamber). After that you should then be able to register. We are committed to providing a welcoming and accessible experience for all event attendees. If you require any accommodations, please reach out to Jaci Pieters at jpieters@siouxfalls.com. We will make every effort to meet your needs.

Take a behind-the-scenes look at more than 70 years of aerospace innovation during December’s Community Connections Tour at Aerostar. With roots dating back to Raven Industries and the earliest days of high-altitude research ballooning, Aerostar has played a role in advancing lighter-than-air technology from right here in Sioux Falls. Over the decades, its work has evolved from research balloons and the invention of the modern hot air balloon to high-altitude platforms, radar systems, protective solutions and advanced manufacturing supporting critical missions around the world. Today, Aerostar continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible, including setting a world record in 2025 for the longest continuous controllable flight in the stratosphere at 336 days. Join us for a tour of Aerostar to learn more about the company’s history, explore the technology and manufacturing happening in Sioux Falls, and see how a local team is helping connect, protect and save lives around the world. Registration is required, and space is limited to the first 25 participants. If you register, please plan to attend and mark your calendar. We are committed to providing a welcoming and accessible experience for all event attendees. If you require any accommodations, please reach out to Jaci Pieters at jpieters@siouxfalls.com. We will make every effort to meet your needs.
