Employment Disability Resources is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping businesses successfully recruit, retain, and promote qualified individuals with disabilities. Since its founding in 2009, the organization has worked to connect employers with resources, education, and strategies that create more inclusive workplaces and strengthen workforce participation across our community. During this event, attendees will learn more about Employment Disability Resources’ mission, current initiatives, and the important role they play in supporting both employers and individuals with disabilities. Registration is required and limited to the first 25 participants. If you register, please plan to attend and add the event to your calendar. Located in Sioux Falls, Grand Prairie Foods is a food manufacturing company that has grown from a local business into a trusted partner for customers across the country. The company produces a variety of food products while focusing on quality, innovation and the people behind the work. During the tour, young professionals will have the opportunity to step behind the scenes and see how products move through the manufacturing process. Learn about the technology, teamwork and attention to detail that go into getting food from production to the people who enjoy it. Whether you work in manufacturing or simply want to learn more about one of Sioux Falls’ local businesses, this is a great opportunity to explore a different side of the community, ask questions and connect with fellow young professionals.
