How does the Chamber make sure the voice of the business community is heard? For the second event in our four-part Our Sioux Falls series, we’re diving into advocacy and public policy. Learn how the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce identifies issues that matter to local businesses, develops its policy priorities and advocates on behalf of its members at the local, state and federal levels. We’ll also explore the different ways Chamber members can stay informed, engage with important issues and make their own voices heard. You don’t have to be a policy expert to get involved. Come learn how the Chamber advocates for you and how you can be part of the conversation. Registration is required and limited to the first 25 participants. Join us for YP Gives, our monthly initiative connecting YPN members with hands-on volunteer opportunities through our partnership with Sioux Empire United Way! This month, we’re giving back at The Foster Network, an organization supporting children and caregivers through prevention, foster care, kinship placements, reunification, and beyond. At the heart of The Foster Network is its foster closet, which provides clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and seasonal essentials to families. From emergency placements to everyday needs as children grow, these resources help ease the financial and logistical challenges of caregiving. Connect with fellow young professionals while supporting The Foster Network’s mission to ensure children and caregivers have the resources and community they need to thrive.
