Lisa was originally born and raised on a farm near Springfield, South Dakota and her very first job was destasseling corn for a few weeks one summer! She went on to earn a degree in Business/Marketing from Dakota State University. After graduation, she worked for Target as an Executive Team Leader, relocating from Watertown, SD to Fargo, ND, and eventually the Twin Cities, before deciding to move back closer to home. Lisa is well-acquainted with SEUW, having previously served as Campaign Director from 2010 to 2015. She has a successful track record of annual giving campaigns, major giving, and planned giving, with nearly 14 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit leadership.  Now as the CEO, Lisa will be responsible for the overall strategic vision and leadership to a talented professional team, as well as to a dedicated board, community volunteers, agency partners, and organizational stakeholders. His career spans 16 years as Executive Director of the Lincoln and Minnehaha County Economic Development Associations, seven years as State Director of the South Dakota Small Business Development Center, and four years with the City of Sioux Falls. Join us for an Seat at the Table event this May featuring Major General Mark R. Morrell. Major General Mark R. Morrell is the 23rd Adjutant General of the South Dakota National Guard. He serves as Commanding General for both the South Dakota Air and Army National Guard and guides the preparation of 4,200 Air and Army National Guard Citizen Soldiers and Airmen and 1,000 full-time Federal and State employees to respond in times of state or national emergency. General Morrell also serves on Governor Larry Rhoden’s cabinet as the principal advisor to the Governor on all matters involving use of the National Guard.General Morrell entered the Air Force in May 1999 as a distinguished graduate of South Dakota State University. General Morrell is a Command Pilot with over 3,000 flying hours, and is both a graduate of and former instructor at the United States Air Force Weapons School. He has taken part in training operations across the world and has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel along with NATOs Resolute Support Mission.
