Friends of the Big Sioux River is dedicated to protecting and restoring the Big Sioux River and its watershed through improved water quality, community education, and conservation efforts. Their work focuses on creating a healthier river system while promoting the environmental, recreational, and economic benefits the river provides to our region. During this event, attendees will learn more about the organization’s mission, current initiatives, and the importance of community partnerships in preserving the Big Sioux River for future generations.
